Description |
Kingsley Hot Stamp Foil in original box. 20 rolls of silver hot-stamp embossing foil. Rolls are for use in a Kingsley stamping machine where the foil feeds out of the roll. This method of embossing or printing was used on dice and gaming checks and chips. 17 rolls are sealed and unused with a round yellow and gold seal "KINGSLEY HOLLYWOOD". Rolls stamped with a manufacturing date of "JUNE 56" in blue ink. 3 rolls are partially used. The outer box is printed in black ink "KINGSLEY FOIL Keep in a cool, dry place Kingsley Stamping Machine Co. 850 N. Cahuenga, Hollywood, 38, Cal." There is a white sticker in red ink "Use Before June-1957". "Silver" written in pencil on left end of cover. From Hunt/Taylor Co. Archive. "HM-23872-G-00015" written in pencil on lower right-hand corner of the box bottom and cream paper string tag. |
