The materials document his business and personal activities in the United States (chiefly California and Nevada), England, Cornwall, Australia (he was a manager and then partner (1908-1920) in the international mining firm of Bewick, Moreing & Company, which had extensive Australian operations), Canada, Burma, India, Ceylon, Korea, Mexico, and elsewhere. Also included are photographs of automobile racing and the San Francisco Speedway. |
