The North Truckee Glendale Farm Center, under the sponsorship of the State Extension Service and the federal Department of Agriculture, was a group that promoted information sharing about farm practices, farm product pricing, and government programs relevant to farm and ranch issues. They also supported the local Homemakers Club and 4-H program. Active participants included John Cristensen, D. McNially, John Capurro, J. D'Andrea, C. Gaspari, and A. Rossi. |
