Author, of Reno, Nevada; charter member of and Honorary Chapter Regent of Nevada Sagebrush Chapter, was a tireless promoter of the restoration efforts of Fort Churchill; authored The Enchanted Fort, a detailed history of Fort Churchill published in 1968; also served as 17th State Regent of Nevada, from 1941-1943. Correspondence and other papers relating chiefly to two books written by Addenbrooke: Mistress of the Mansion, 1950, about Allison (Eilley) Bowers, and The Enchanted Fort; together with items concerning her work in the restoration and preservation of the Bowers Mansion, Reno, Nevada, and Fort Churchill (an army fort built in 1861, now a state historic park), Lyon County, Nevada.
